We hired Heather to help us select the furnishings and finishing elements for our back patio and outdoor dining area. We wanted a very specific modern look that also incorporated some vintage elements while blending with our backyard landscaping. Heather was enthusiastic about the project and listened well to our specific requirements while also challenging us to think outside the box on a few things. What emerged from our collaboration was a sophisticated and cozy lounge area as well as a minimalistic and modern outdoor dining space. She even sourced the modern light pendants that we spotted in a restaurant, which ended up being perfect over our 10-person custom oak dining table. Our home was in the regional garden show just after Heather finished and the hundreds of folks who passed through were super enthusiastic about just how well-designed and engaging our outdoor spaces are. What I love most about Heather’s design is how comfortably and effortlessly we can relax with friends in our spaces.

Heather is a rare find! Of course she is abundantly talented with design, but she is also a rockstar with operations and project management. Heather helped us furnish and style our airbnb, and it turned out better than we ever could have imagined. Our guests consistently rave about the design. She took care of just about everything from bed frames to throw blankets and plants so we didn’t have to stress about which furniture and accessories to purchase. After our inspiration and alignment meeting, we simply gave her a budget to work with and let her do her thing.

What an experience! What started off with wanting to simply paint the exterior somehow turned into a complete remodel including land and hardscapes (we may have thrown in a pool as well 😊). Every room was touched, top to bottom front to back. Heather was clear and straightforward in describing the design process. We expressed our (very vague) design preferences and that translated into a cohesive and beautiful vision for our home including options for every piece of furniture. Heather also helped manage installation and contractors. We couldn’t be happier with the process, or the outcome. We are thrilled to be living in a space that is beautiful and still very functional. We can’t thank Heather enough for her care and immaculate attention to detail in managing our kitchen/laundry room and bathroom remodel. We used Heather for her In Person Consultation Service and I cannot recommend her more! She came to our home and walked our property discussing all of our wants, concerns and overall outcome we were trying to achieve. She took her time, used the full two hours and immediately started creating and giving us ideas and direction on how to achieve the remodel we wanted! She left us feeling inspired and confident! Shortly after our consultation we received an email breaking down everything we discussed, her design ideas and an execution plan. She also created mood boards to further guide us and give us a visual. Heather answered any questions I had along the way and was beyond helpful! We were so lucky to choose Heather to help us tackle our whole-home renovation and redesign. Heather worked with us hand-in-hand to re-layout our floorplan and designed or selected everything from flooring, to wall colors, to bathroom fixtures, cabinetry, window treatments, and on and on. Her attention to detail and thoroughness was impeccable, and her signature design binder that had each and every one of those details in it was invaluable. She also helped us select contractors and manage the construction of our project from start to finish. The final result was beautiful and her design choices ended up matching our styles so incredibly well.
