Texture texture texture! When designing in a neutral color palette the space can easily fall flat and feel almost too cohesive. While the point of going with a more neutral space is so that there is a certain uniformity to a room, the last thing you want is to feel trapped in a sea of tone on tone.
The quickest remedy for this is to remember that texture is your friend! Layers of fabric, stone, metal and wood highlight a space beautifully and I’ve especially been loving how easy it is to achieve this layered look with a great mirror. Not only is a mirror going to serve double duty as a great reflector of light and a beautiful wall decoration – but its the perfect place to layer in more texture and pattern while still sticking to your neutral palette.
On my own search for a great mirror to suite our upcoming bohemian traveller themed nursery – I’ve rounded up some of the best pieces I found on the market.
These mirrors are sure to to be an absolute highlight in any room! The details of our nursery are top secret for now – but can you guess which one of these I have already ordered?
